Petrochemical constant and reduced pressure top condenser, model FLB1200-395-16-4, made of 10# steel; operating conditions: circulating water inside the tubes, temperature of 25 degrees, pressure of 0.2 MPa. Oil, gas, and water vapor on the outer wall of the tube bundle; temperature 55 degrees; pressure is negative. In the image below, the tube bundle was not protected against corrosion, and corrosion occurred after more than 1 year of use.
Since the tube bundle of the condenser is made of 10# steel, it is prone to corrosion when exposed to oil, gas, and water vapor over a long period of time without any anti-corrosion treatment. It is recommended to use corrosion-resistant materials to protect the tube bundle, or to replace it regularly, in order to extend the service life of the equipment. .
