What do the connection dimensions shown in the image represent, and why is there such a big difference from the nominal dimensions? Is the nominal size the inner diameter of the flange, and the connection size the inner diameter of the pipe end?
He made a mistake and typed it wrong. GB9119.3 has been repealed and replaced by GBT9119-2010.
Haha, option D was written incorrectly; 168.3 was written as 68.3.
The connection dimension is the outer diameter; the nominal dimension, which is neither the outer nor the inner diameter, is a unified term used for it
Are the connection dimensions on my diagram the outer diameter of the pipe times the pipe thickness? Which dimension of the flange does the nominal size refer to?
The outer diameter of the pipes is 168.3 and 159, but people do not use DN168.3 and DN159 to denote these specifications, as it is too difficult to remember, too cumbersome, and too tedious. So, after discussing it, they decided to use DN150! For tubes like these, there has to be a name; after some discussion, the nominal size was adopted!
Nominal size – you can interpret it as a commonly acceptable size; definitions such as the nominal measurement size can be set aside for now.
