Based on the causes of corrosion on the tank roof and the actual conditions at the site, it was decided to use fiberglass reinforcement combined with internal anti-corrosion measures to repair the crude oil tank roofs. Using this approach to repair the roofs can save more than 40% in project costs compared to replacing the roofs outright, and it offers the following advantages: (1) The crude oil storage tanks are all located within a processing station, where the use of fire and smoke is strictly prohibited.
