On July 21, Jiangsu Meiside Chemical Co., Ltd. announced that the polyurethane spraying application laboratory it had invested in building was officially put into use at its R&D center in Nanjing. Meiside Chemical’s newly built spraying laboratory is equipped with industry-leading polyurethane spraying equipment, enabling the precise simulation of the on-site spraying conditions for various environmentally friendly processes, including spraying in harsh low-temperature environments. This application laboratory works closely in conjunction with the testing laboratory; by using equipment such as thermal conductivity testers, fully automatic open/closed cell volume rate testers, and mechanical property testers, it is possible to conduct comprehensive tests on various key performance indicators of sprayed foam, as well as to evaluate the durability of the products under extreme environmental conditions. Currently, Meiside is developing and optimizing its polyurethane additive solutions for high-water + HFC-245fa, LBA, and all-water spraying systems. This laboratory will focus on in-depth research and development of environmentally friendly formulation systems, optimize the spraying process parameters for different technical approaches, establish a comprehensive technical database, and provide customers with one-stop technical services ranging from material selection to construction guidance, offering strong data support for formula optimization and process upgrades. Currently, the laboratory is open to industry clients and partners, offering services such as technical consulting, sample testing, and joint development. A representative from Meiside Chemical said that, as a leading provider of polyurethane additive solutions in the industry, the company focuses on the research and development and production of high-performance green polyurethane additives such as silicone surfactants and organic amine catalysts. The establishment of the spraying laboratory represents an important implementation of the company’s technology innovation strategy; in the future, it will continue to increase investment in research and development to drive the industry toward greater environmental sustainability and higher efficiency.
