The first one has lines on it; glass is a brittle material, and it is highly sensitive to stress – even slight stress can cause these lines to expand and lead to cracking. In the second sample, I feel that the boundary between the surface layer and the inner layer is quite distinct, indicating delamination, with cracks present inside, likely due to an imperfect firing process
Seeing it in person gives a different feeling.
Early on, some companies recommended enamel tube heat exchangers/air coolers; it seems necessary to be cautious.
