Workpieces often pile up in transfer boxes, with one workpiece placed on top of another or in contact with one another. At this point, the two workpieces form a battery, with the metal machining fluid serving as the medium for electron transfer. This situation is very common during cast iron processing. In fact, it is very difficult for cast iron to resist rusting when piled up (depending on the quality of the cast iron); it can rust within just a few hours. Placing a layer of plastic between the workpiece stacks can eliminate this issue. Please do not use cardboard, as it contains a large amount of sulfur. If paper or similar materials are used, make sure they have vapor-suppressing properties; otherwise, it may accelerate rusting. Moisture in the workpiece turnover box can also accelerate rusting. Please use a metal basket or a perforated pallet to drain the metal machining fluid. If possible, please use plastic turnover boxes ； Or a plastic-lined metal basket can be used to store the workpieces.
