Based on the previously established mechanisms of low-temperature sulfur corrosion, effective prevention and control can be achieved through multiple measures: First, control of raw materials at the source – ensure that the sulfur and chlorine content in the crude oil fed into the facility does not exceed the specified levels; carry out proper electrodesalination treatment of the crude oil to guarantee that its salt content meets the required standards, thereby reducing the formation of corrosive substances from the outset. II. Optimization of process operations: Maintain the temperature of the oil and gas at the top of the tower 14°C above the dew point to prevent corrosion caused by dew point condensation ; Control the chlorine content in the raw materials at the sites where scaling occurs, in order to reduce the under-scale corrosion caused by ammonium salt crystallization. III. Special anti-corrosion measures: The \"one removal and four injections\" anti-corrosion system is implemented, with corrosion inhibitors, water, ammonia, and other substances being injected at specific points in the tower top system to neutralize acidic corrosive agents and form a protective layer on the metal surface. IV. Auxiliary protection measures: Use suitable materials resistant to low-temperature sulfur corrosion; apply specialized anti-hydrogen sulfide coatings on the inner walls of the equipment to prevent contact between corrosive agents and the metal substrate.
