In my HYSYS dynamic simulation, there is a PID pressure controller for a distillation column; the control variable is the valve opening degree of the distillate stream at the top of the column. During each dynamic simulation, the OP value of this controller shows to be over 90%, and in some cases even 100%. I would like to ask the experts how I can modify it so that the OP value is around 50%
Reducing the reboiler flow rate should help you
