How can this cage conveyor be drawn properly?

I’ve only been learning CAD for a short time. This is called drawing a helical cage; it’s frustrating. There aren’t many problems with 2D drawings, but I have trouble figuring out the directions in 3D
The thread drawing method should be more or less the same, right?
I find drawing fun; creating complex designs gives a sense of achievement
It’s pretty good. But for 3D drawings, CAD is not yet its strong point. It is recommended to learn SolidWorks
The computer is from seven years ago; it can’t handle heavy tasks anymore. I just use it for occasional entertainment. Thanks for your suggestions
