Dear marine professionals, in order to help everyone learn the ProII process simulation software better – so that beginners can gain knowledge and experienced users can refresh their skills – we are launching the \"Make Progress Every Day\" series of courses on the basics of ProII. Since I use Aspen Plus/Hysys on a regular basis and have not studied ProII software systematically, the knowledge I provide might be rather basic. I hope fellow users will offer valuable suggestions and opinions, and actively participate in the discussions. Multiple-choice question: 12. Which of the following statements about Rigorous HX is correct? A. It performs heat balance calculations for single-phase, condensation, or evaporation processes in shell-and-tube heat exchangers. B. Calculation types include: predictive and design-oriented. C. Predictive type: Given the heat transfer area and thermal resistance of the unit, it calculates the outlet temperatures of the hot and cold fluids as well as the heat load of the heat exchanger ; Design type: Specify the heat load of the heat exchanger or the temperature of the hot/cold body, and calculate the heat exchange area of the heat exchanger based on the thermal resistance, or calculate the thermal resistance based on the heat exchange area. D. Model parameters include: calculation type, model type, overall structure, fluid flows in the tube and shell sides and their thermodynamic models, detailed structure, tube array structure, baffle structure, heat transfer film coefficient, pressure drop, material of the heat exchanger, and nozzle structure.
