The Naki Code Interface tool (hereinafter referred to as CI) is a PDMS plugin for secondary development, used to generate purchase codes in a straightforward manner. It implements a simple yet maintainable coding rule set that enables the creation of material codes (hereinafter referred to as CC codes) and purchase codes (hereinafter referred to as PN codes). The coding information is stored in the attributes of PDMS components, and the generated drawings and material lists include these codes, thus solving the issue of materials having codes attached to them in one go. Students who are interested are welcome to get in touch for a trial. CI philosophy: Simplify coding rules to the greatest extent possible ; Encoding must be carried out in a forward direction; this approach ensures the quality and timeliness of material coding, as well as a more rational coding and system integration, resulting in smoother data flow ; Only one set of grades is maintained to avoid redundant work, prevent the creation of inconsistent data sources, and preserve the data structure of PDMS material grades. Another additional advantage is that the CI system will ultimately create a company-wide database of CC codes and PN codes. Once such independent databases are in place, it becomes possible to access the coding information contained within them through the development of data interfaces, thereby enabling the selection and matching of materials. This solves the problem of having to create material lists before the PDMS design is completed, which otherwise makes it difficult to assign appropriate codes to the materials; instead, materials can be selected directly from the coding database.
