I am a newbie, using V8.4apsen software. Simulating a heat exchanger (oil and steam heat exchange), temperature cross-temperatures always occur. Please ask the masters for guidance. Thank you so much~
Try increasing the heat outlet temperature or lowering the heat outlet temperature.
I agree with what you said. It is probably because the temperature parameter settings are unreasonable, resulting in the inability to exchange so much heat!
I used apsen simulation before, two identical heat exchangers were connected in series. Only the import and export parameters of the cold material and the import parameters of the hot stream steam are input. But aspen keeps saying temperatures cross. Later, I simulated one by one like the picture above, and it became the temperature crossover of the last heat exchanger.
