The computer at home runs on Windows 10 with Office 2016. At the start of installation, it showed a message stating that “Reports/Portal will not be installed as no proper Office version was found.” I later managed to install it somehow by following the cracking steps, but when I tried to run the program, I still got the error “No such file or directory.” On the computer at work, which runs on Windows 7 with Office 2013, the installation works fine. The cracking steps are as follows: 1. Go to ..\install\setup; you can choose to use metric units. 2. Select FlexNet 11. 3. Complete the normal installation process. 4. Copy ..\patch\flxnet11.dll to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\SIMSCI\SIMSCICFI50\VC090x32\bin. 5. Copy ..\patch\license.dat to C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin. 6. In Control Panel, go to System and Security > System > Advanced system settings > Environment Variables > New. Set the variable name to IPASSI_LICENSE_FILE and the variable value to C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin\license.dat. In other words, IPASSI_LICENSE_FILE=C:\Program Files (x86)\SIMSCI\PROII94\Bin\license.dat. 7. If you still get the error “No such file or directory” when running the program, use Simsci/License Manager Tool. Under “Products Installed”, select “All Products”; under “Security Type”, select “Flxnet11 Flexlm/Token/Flexnet/Tokennet”. For “License Server”, select “FLXNET11”. Following these steps, Office 2013 on Windows 7 works fine, but Office 2016 on Windows 10 has problems. What should I do? ?
