The meaning of Fortran statements

Everyone, I have been learning to use Aspen for simulating coal gasification recently. While following the lecture materials, I encountered several Fortran statements whose meaning I’m not sure about, as well as why they are written in that way. I would be very grateful if you could provide some guidance.

Which example is this? The first sentence isn’t very clear; it would be better if you provided its definition. DECOMP is likely a parameter related to the number of components, while the rest relate to the conversion between wet and dry bases.
It’s similar to what’s on the 3rd floor: FACT represents the dry basis content, H2O represents the water content, and the values that follow indicate the dry basis content of each component. ULT() denotes elemental analysis, with 1-7 corresponding to various elements respectively
