Seeking expert advice: How to set an expiration date for a CAD file? The goal is to make this CAD file unable to be opened or become invalid after a certain date; for example, the Flange. dwg file will not be able to be opened after September 30, 2018. I hope experts can provide some guidance. Thank you!
It’s a strange idea – I’ve always been worried that over time I might forget the passwords I set once, or that old files might become unreadable after a version upgrade. Historical documents might be useless, but I often hesitate to get rid of them.
What you’re referring to is a logic bomb, right?
I want to know that too, but it seems impossible to do. What the poster means is files that are sent to others for viewing, something similar to a read-once-only function.
