Ask about the selection issues in Aspen

I’m a newcomer to Aspen; I used a plug-flow reactor for simulations in recent tasks. I would like to ask the more experienced users: knowing the reaction selectivity, where should one enter this value when using a plug-flow reactor? Also, does anyone have the kinetic equations for the reaction of TBA with methanol to produce MTBE? I’ve been searching for them for a long time without success.
This post was last edited by wxch99219 on 2018-11-25 08:19. There is no selective setting for plug-flow reactions; only kinetic reactors have such a feature. The selectivity of components can only be determined through sensitivity analysis or calculations using a calculator.
