When entering materials, should the pure amount of the material be entered, or is it entered directly? If the pure material is entered, are the impurities considered part of that material as well? Impurities participate in some reactions. Do I need to enter the catalyst?
You can enter the information in whatever format the material is in; it actually makes no difference. It’s just done this way for clarity. Catalyst is not required. From your question, it seems you might have a misunderstanding of Aspen’s function.
