I’m a beginner using Aspen. I would like to ask the experts here: the set value for the inlet flow rate of the heat exchanger is 7.2 t/h, but the calculation results show a flow rate of around 6.5 t/h. Why is there this discrepancy?
The flow meter provides only a reference value; it is not absolutely accurate. It is important to take into account the properties of the medium and the pressure levels, as well as to choose an appropriate type of valve. Alternatively, there may be issues with the PID settings of your control valve
Parameter correction and signal selection issues. It is normal to have errors.
Is it something you created yourself or someone else’s file? If it’s someone else’s, there might be design specifications in place
