To which systems is the Antoine equation applicable?

As the title suggests, to which systems is the Antoine equation applicable? I’m not very familiar with this equation; it wasn’t covered in class before (I think). If anyone knows something about it, could you explain it to me?
It is applicable to most compounds in general; any compound with anthrone parameters is suitable (note that the parameters are temperature-dependent).
