When using the HaoChen CAD software to create drawings, designers sometimes modify the CAD background color in order to make drawing and viewing easier. So how do you change the CAD background color? Next, taking Haochen CAD software as an example, I will explain in detail how to set the background color in CAD! Steps to set the background color in CAD: 1. First, open the HaoChen CAD software, click on 【Tools】>【Options】 to open the Options dialog box, then switch to the 【Display】 tab. 2. Then continue by clicking the “Color (C)…” button in the [Window Elements] combo box to open the [Color Options] dialog box. 3. On the [Context] tab, select the [2D Model Space] option. Then, on the [Interface Elements] tab, choose the [Uniform Background] option, and select the desired color from the [Color] dropdown list. 4. Click the “Apply and Close (A)” button to complete the setting of the background color in the drawing area. Then close the [Options] dialog box. Problems that occur during the setting of the CAD background color: Issues related to the setting of layout colors. Often, the color of the CAD layout is set to black, as shown in the image, but the background still appears gray. Why is that? In fact, this is not the layout gray; as shown in the image, it is the background color. In 【Settings】—【Display】, adjust the layout elements and uncheck the option to show the drawing background. At this point, it will be displayed normally, as shown in the figure below. That’s all for the tutorial on how to change the CAD background color in Haochen CAD software; those who need it can give it a try.
