Dynamic simulation of compressors – mass non-conservation

Could someone expert please help figure out why the mass is not conserved at the inlet and outlet in this simple compressor simulation? It works in the steady-state condition, but once it switches to dynamic operation, the mass flow rates at the inlet and outlet are no longer conserved; pressure is used to determine the values at the inlet and outlet.

If it’s not conserved, can the dynamics still be calculated?

It’s possible, so I also find it strange. The solver does not report any errors; the integrator can run continuously no matter how much time is given.

Did you use V11 to do it? I can’t open my V9.
