Methods for converting CAD drawings into high-resolution JPG and PNG images in CAD viewing software

Converting CAD drawings into high-resolution JPG or PNG images has been a major challenge for us. Today, we’re here to help you overcome this issue and enable easy conversion of CAD drawings into high-resolution JPG and PNG files. We will use the HaoChen CAD Viewer desktop version as an example to show you the steps involved in converting CAD drawings into such high-resolution image formats. Steps to convert CAD drawings into high-resolution JPG or PNG images: 1. Open the drawing that needs to be converted into an image in [Haicheng CAD Viewer for Desktop]. Click on the logo of [Haicheng CAD Viewer for Desktop] in the upper left corner of the interface, and select [Image Output] from the dropdown menu that appears, as shown in the figure below. 2. Follow the instructions displayed on the interface; use the mouse to select the area of the drawing that you want to convert into an image, as shown in the figure below. 3. After making the selection, a [Export Image] dialog box will appear. In this dialog box, simply choose JPG or PNG as the [Export Format], select “High” for [Export Resolution], and then click OK. As shown in the figure below: 4. After clicking OK, a page for saving the image will appear. On this page, we can set the path where the image will be saved, the name of the image, and select the file format again. As shown in the figure below, we save the drawing on the desktop; the default name for the image is the name of the drawing, namely “China Architecture”, and the format is the JPG format that we selected earlier. After saving the image, we can see it on the computer desktop, as shown in the figure. Double-clicking on the image allows us to view it directly in the image viewer; as shown below, the image remains quite clear. What should we do if CAD drawings converted to JPG or PNG formats are not clear? CAD drawings in DWG format remain clear when viewed and zoomed in using CAD software. However, sometimes we need to convert such DWG files into JPG or PNG images for viewing. Once converted to an image format, the clarity lost when zooming in is not as good as that in DWG format. If the resulting JPG or PNG image is already of poor quality, it becomes impossible to view it clearly at all.
