When selecting the HTRI heat exchanger, the cooling water goes through the tube side, the hot stream (liquid phase) goes through the shell side, and the upper in and out of the shell side. What does the error as shown in the figure mean when the operation report appears? According to the translation, the liquid level can only reach 54% of the shell diameter, and the outlet nozzle needs to be enlarged. But how can the liquid level not reach the shell when it goes in and out? Ask for advice
It seems that the calculation is based on the shell side condensation process. Check whether the gas phase fractions of the inlet and outlet of the shell side heat flow are both 0, which is the liquid sensible heat transfer process.
In the reported results, the gas phase fraction of the hot stream is all 0. :'(
If I change the thermal flow phase state directly to the full liquid phase, the simulation will report an error again.: temperature at inlet(hot):has been reset to the profile value to prevent extrapolation. But I have adjusted the temperature range of the hot stream and it still shows this:'(
