Drawing rectangles is one of the basic operations in the CAD drawing and design process. However, it might not be well understood by those who are new to CAD drawing. Next, using Haocheng CAD View King, we will teach you three different techniques for drawing rectangles suitable for beginners in CAD drawing! For example: How should a rectangle that is 1000 units long and 500 units wide be drawn? I. Drawing a rectangle at specified coordinates 1. Specified coordinates: For points A and C in the target shape, we only need to determine the coordinates of these two points to be able to draw the rectangle. 2. Coordinate settings: We define the coordinates of point A as (0, 0) and the coordinates of point C as (1000, 500); thus, the rectangle drawn will have a length of 1000 and a width of 500. 3. Procedure: In edit mode, select the rectangle function, enter the coordinates 0,0 and press Enter, then enter 1000,500 and press Enter. (Everything that needs to be entered is marked with an oval). II. Drawing a rectangle by specifying length and width 1. Specify length and width: simply enter the desired values for length and width. 2. Procedure: In edit mode, select the rectangle function, choose a point on the interface as one of the vertices of the rectangle (it can be chosen arbitrarily or precisely by entering coordinates), enter D (to indicate drawing using dimensions), and then input the length and width, which are 1000 and 500 respectively, as shown in the figure below. (Everything that needs to be entered is marked with an oval.) III. Area and length: To draw a rectangle, open HaoChen CAD ViewKing on the computer. In edit mode, select the rectangle function; choose a point on the interface as one of the vertices of the rectangle (you can choose it arbitrarily or select it precisely by entering coordinates). Enter A to indicate that area-based drawing is to be used, then enter the area value of 500,000. Next, enter the length L (with width denoted as W), and enter a length value of 1000, as shown in the figure below. (Everything that needs to be entered is marked with an oval.)
