I have just completed the first part of a dynamic block for CAD process piping and instrumentation diagrams, specifically related to PID control. It’s the first time I’ve posted anything in several years; I hope everyone will give it their support. The features included in this design are as follows: 1. A legend for centrifugal pumps with rotatable pipe ends; 2. Dynamic blocks for valves, allowing selection from different types; 3. Dynamic blocks for instruments; 4. Options for adjusting the length of device annotations; 5. Reversible symbols for drawing connections and boundary connections; 6. Dynamic blocks for various pipe fittings, such as elbows, sight glasses, and tee joints. All these features are designed for chemical engineering professionals who frequently need to modify different valves and pipe fittings during the design process.
