PDMS Development Tools Sharing – Setting the Pipe Bottom Elevation and Aligning the Bottom Elevation

In PDMS and E3D, there is still no particularly effective method for directly setting and aligning the base elevation; common approaches to base elevation alignment include using steel beams for assistance in positioning, calculating ABOP/LBOP values and then making manual adjustments, etc. Here, two small tools are provided to quickly accomplish these tasks: Specify base elevation: Align base elevation: Usage instructions: 1. Place the files SETBOP.pmlfrm and BOPALIGN.pmlfrm in the PMLLIB folder located in the installation path. 2. Execute “PML REHASH ALL” in the PDMS command line. 3. Enter “Show !!setbop” and “Show !!bopalign” in the command line to open the respective windows. 4. After entering the parameters, use the mouse to make sequential selections in order to perform batch adjustments
Steel structures are not supported; this tool was developed quite early on, so its functions are quite basic – it can only be used for pipes
