I use HYSYS to simulate continuous liquid-phase diesel hydrogenation. For this type of hydrogenation process, my reaction modeling does not include a feed gas-to-oil ratio (which is set to 0); instead, the diesel product is recycled (as compressed hydrogen) and mixed with the feed oil. However, this approach results in a very high sulfur content in the product (1000+ ppm). I would like to ask experts how to solve this problem.
