Description: Custom toolbars from older CAD versions lose write permissions and become inaccessible after being loaded using CUILoad in newer CAD versions. Does anyone know how to convert them to a format compatible with newer versions? How to modify.
The new version of CAD has changed the way custom toolbars are stored; therefore, attempting to load custom toolbars from an older version of CAD into a newer version may result in problems. Solution: 1. Open a lower-version CAD, select “Toolbars” – “Toolbar Editor” from the menu, and export (save) the custom toolbar as a file. 2. In newer versions of CAD, open the “Options” dialog box, select the “File” tab, and find then click the “Toolbars” sub-tab. 3. On the “Toolbar” tab, click the “Load” button, select the custom toolbar file that was exported earlier, and load it. 4. To modify and update the toolbar, you can use the “Toolbar Editor” in a newer version of CAD to make the changes and save them. Please note that the saved custom toolbar file still cannot be loaded in lower versions of CAD. I hope the methods above can help you! -
