The Ukp3d8.0 standalone platform-based 3D factory design system enhances the functions of modules such as 3D navigation, structural layout, piping layout, component library, as well as the stress analysis interface. Added the GD2016 grade and component library, as well as the 4th edition grade library for valves from the Chinese Ministry of Machinery. UKP3d8.0 released at http://www.uesoft.com/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=163510&fromuid=6
The software has been updated to version 9.0 UKP3d9.0, which significantly improves the process of selecting parameters during modeling and enhances the automation features by allowing for the automatic creation of parent nodes. Improve the modeling of HVAC/cable trays, the functions of pipe axonometric views, and enhance the display speed of pipe models. Since ukp3d was introduced, it has received significant attention from users. In response to various requests, this version provides an interface for exporting pipeline models to Revit (with attributes). Added the HG/T 20615-2021 flange component library, HVAC and cable tray material summary tables, as well as pipeline insulation structure tables. I. UKP3d9.0 adds the following functions: The functions are as follows: General functions 1. Automatically create a parent node when creating a child node in the first step. 2. The elevation node references from the design library have been removed. 3. Optimize the display speed of the pipeline model. 4. At the start of modeling, it automatically switches to the modification panel, and returns to the original panel once modeling is complete. 5. The modeling was improved, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency in selecting component parameters during the modification process (by adding a dialog box for selecting components, a dialog box for drawing pipes, and optimizing the content and speed of the property boxes). 6. When a command has not yet been completed, clicking on a new command automatically terminates the previous one. 7. The panel display has been optimized, with panels that are not available in the current view shown in gray. 8. Add a function to save as a project template. 9. When rotating large STP files, the bounding box of the STP is displayed dynamically. 10. Added a feature that prompts the user to save the project if changes have been made before exiting the software, allowing cancellation of the exit process. 11. Added the function of double-clicking to display the graphic in full view. 12. An auto-save function has been added. 13. An operation rod similar to that in CAD has been added (the previous version used one similar to Navisworks); a pipe module has also been added. 14. A + symbol grip has been added to the middle of the pipe, allowing branch pipes to be placed on it. 15. The limitation on dragging fittings has been modified; the range within which fittings can be dragged is no longer restricted by the endpoints of the pipes. 16. The reference parameter dialog box has added a secondary classification to facilitate user selection of nodes. Building Structure Module 17: Displays the length of the beam in the property box, and allows the length to be modified. Device module 18: Pipe clamping points have been added at the nozzles. HVAC/Cable trays 19. Enhances the functionality for installing HVAC systems and cable trays. Axonometric view: 20. A function to insert break points for axonometric views has been added. 21. Added the display of coordinate information at the start and end. To third-party interfaces: 22. Export pipeline model to Revit (with attributes and model). Database: 23. The HG/T 20615-2021 flange standard has been added. 24. The custom pipe fitting catalog has been expanded to include driveless straight-through valves, manual straight-through valves, electric straight-through valves, cylindrical filters, custom flow-rate long-diameter nozzles, custom flow-rate welded nozzles, custom flow-rate flanged orifice plate assemblies, and metal flexible connectors. 25. Added tables for valves, a summary table of HVAC pipeline materials, a summary table of cable tray and pipeline materials, as well as a table detailing the pipe insulation structure and related specifications. 26. Organized the HVAC, cable tray, and fittings database. The bugs that have been fixed are as follows: 1. Fixed the bug where parameters were not removed when using the parameter node dialog box to delete them. 2. Fixed the parsing error for trigonometric functions with unit digits. 3. Fixed the bug where switching projects by creating components via a template caused issues. 4. Fixed the bug where imported projects were not added to the recently opened list. 5. Fixed the bug where components were added, causing errors in level filtering. 6. Fixed the bug where box-style labels could not be displayed in axial views. 7. Fixed a bug where certain data was incorrect during report statistics aggregation. 8. Clean up the lines, arcs, etc.; just press the ESC key once to exit. 9. Fixed the bug where navigation bar nodes disappeared. 10. Fix the issue of slow HVAC speed during the first draw. 11. Fix the bug that prevents the insertion of variable-angle Y-shaped tees. 12. Fix the bug related to exporting txt files. 13. Fixed the bug where the grip point was occasionally not selected. 14. Fixed the bug where selecting an object caused a jump to another location. 15. Other known bugs have been fixed.
Introduction to key features: 1. When creating a node, a parent node can be created automatically. Upon entering the software, it is possible to start modeling right away without the need to create a corresponding parent node. If pipes are drawn directly, the software automatically creates the corresponding piping nodes. 2. At the start of modeling, it automatically switches to the modification panel; once modeling is complete, it returns to the original panel. For various transaction operations, the software automatically switches to the modification panel, where the relevant transaction options are available. After the operations are completed, it returns to the original panel. 3. Optimization of modeling: improvements were made to the accuracy and efficiency of selecting parameter values for components during the modification process; the process of selecting parameters for pipeline modeling was optimized as well. 4. Exporting the pipeline model to Revit: The model is exported from UKP3d as an intermediate file, which is then imported into Revit using the plugins provided by UKP3d, thereby creating a pipeline model in Revit (the UKP3d model) (the model imported into Revit). 5. For pipes and nozzles, plus signs (routing grips) were added; by selecting these grips, it is possible to arrange the pipes directly, with the software automatically determining the starting point of the pipes. 6. Added display of coordinate information at the start and end points in axonometric views; coordinate values are indicated at the beginning and end of branches. 7. Improved the functionality for arranging HVAC systems and cable trays, enabling smoother placement of these elements. 8. Optimized the display of panels, with those that are not available in the current view shown in gray. 9. Added CAD-like control handles (the previous version used Navisworks-style controls); the control type can be switched through the File->Options menu
