I used the radfrac module to simulate the absorption of CO2 by alcoholamine solutions; since the initial flow data and tower structure parameters were taken from reference literature, making modifications was rather limited. The process simulation is working fine at the moment; the issue lies in the hydraulic operation diagram. Since I’m not interested in studying these hydraulic calculations either, I was wondering if it’s possible to ignore the hydraulic aspects and proceed with the simulation anyway?

Okay, thank you very much. I wasn’t originally aiming to design a tower; I just used data from existing studies to simulate a tower that is as close as possible to the experimental data. My future research will focus on things like process optimization and economic analysis, so I plan to ignore the hydraulic aspects if it’s not necessary.
