Issues with SPPID software operation

When using SPPID, the drawing becomes read-only after it is closed and reopened, with a warning stating that there is no permission to make changes or that someone else is using it. How can this be resolved? I’ve drawn a few diagrams. It’s fine as long as they’re not closed; but once they’re closed, the files become read-only and can no longer be edited or modified. One has to create new drawings from scratch. I’d appreciate some advice from those with more experience. Thank you.
