Development background: Many engineering project companies’ technical departments use Excel spreadsheets to manage and arrange design tasks on a daily basis; basically, one task schedule is created for each project, which results in a rather chaotic situation. Furthermore, if it becomes necessary to conduct \"performance evaluations\" of employees later on, it will be difficult to handle. Since it is necessary to use Excel spreadsheets to process monthly or quarterly work plans and completion statuses in order to obtain the desired data, this places quite high demands on the use of Excel. For example, tasks such as compiling a summary of the working days earned by each employee on a monthly basis, or summarizing the working days completed by various departments during that month, often leave managers exhausted, leaving them with no time to focus on the actual work related to design. This system takes into account the advantages and disadvantages of ERP management systems both at home and abroad, and has been developed specifically for the tasks involved in engineering design management. It is an efficient design management tool that can significantly reduce the workload on managers. When the technical department receives a new project, EMS requires only minimal user input to assign the various tasks associated with the project to specific individuals, such as design work, verification tasks, design man-days, verification man-days, task assignment dates, planned completion dates, and actual completion dates. Once the tasks are assigned, they can be exported in Excel format for distribution to the designers. During this process, managers can regularly monitor the progress of tasks and record the actual completion dates. The system automatically calculates the number of working days each designer earns per month, presenting the results in graphical form for easy viewing. This saves managers time, allowing them to devote their valuable time to the technical work itself, thereby helping the company reduce costs and increase efficiency.
