I saw a method of drawing broken lines on foreign drawings, and it seemed quite good. As follows: Create a block, draw a 2×2 mm mask box, and draw a polyline in the center of the box, placing it above the mask box. In this way, when it’s necessary to break a line in the main diagram, simply copy this block over. Question: The border line parameter WIPEOUTFRAME needs to be set to 0. However, when this block is copied to another drawing, the masking box still appears, requiring the parameter values to be set again. But this problem does not occur when using blocks created from foreign drawings. May I ask: is there any way to solve this problem?
The mask border cannot be placed on a hidden layer, nor can it be set to invisible. It won’t serve as a mask then
When creating a block, ensure that the WIPEOUTFRAME parameter is set to 0, and save this setting. Before copying to another drawing, check whether the WIPEOUTFRAME setting of the target drawing is also 0 to ensure consistency.
