Your participation and discussions serve as the greatest motivation! ********************** [Ten Years of Great Development in Chemical Equipment] This is a continuously updated summary thread; all are welcome to join the discussion: https://bbs.hcbbs.com/thread-3576046-1-1.html ***************** Recently, Sinopec successfully tested its first-ever “three-in-one” process simulation software at the No. 3 catalytic cracking unit of Zhenhai Refining & Chemical. This software enables a new type of two- and three-dimensional interactive simulation mode, allowing operators both inside and outside the plant to carry out their tasks collaboratively. The optimized functions of this software will be officially put into use following further calibration. This three-in-one process simulation software was developed jointly by Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd., engineering construction companies, and other organizations. It integrates the catalytic cracking process mechanism model designed by the engineering construction companies, Zhenhai Refining & Chemical’s 3D digital factory model, and the OTS simulation model. By leveraging technologies such as 3D engines, cloud computing, and big data, it enables integration of 2D and 3D elements. It can be used for simulated training of skilled personnel, process optimization, and condition prediction, thereby ensuring the stable and efficient operation of the facilities. Compared to previous desktop simulations and on-site emergency drills, the three-in-one process simulation is more intuitive; technical managers and operators can better understand specific details such as the movement of personnel and the operation of valves during the drills, which helps improve employees’ ability to handle emergencies. This system changes from one person handling all steps to multiple people handling different steps, thereby enabling multi-machine collaboration. The 3D digital factory model incorporates non-digital operations that were previously difficult to simulate, thereby achieving a high degree of consistency with the actual site.
