According to a report from Sinochem New Network, on November 23, Tianji Group’s 2018 Annual Meeting on Fertilizer Sales and Symposium on the High-Quality Development of Nitrogenous Fertilizers was held in Guangzhou. Delegates at the conference are very optimistic about the prospects of nitrogen fertilizers, stating that they are expected to transform the fertilizer industry landscape. They believe that the new type of nitro fertilizer has already earned a good international reputation; in China, the commercial value it holds represents a huge \"underground gold mine\" ready to be tapped. 　　The meeting revealed that currently, China’s annual production capacity for nitro fertilizers is about 22 million tons, with actual output reaching approximately 8 million tons. Meanwhile, the market potential exceeds 30 million tons, indicating vast opportunities for growth. In terms of market acceptance, the new type of nitro fertilizers are exported in large quantities to over 30 countries including Australia, Canada, Japan, Russia, France, and South Africa, and have gained wide recognition in the international market. 　　The delegates present were all optimistic about the prospects of nitrofertilizers. Zhang Jianqiu, deputy editor-in-chief of China Chemical Industry News, pointed out that with the widespread adoption of water-fertilizer integration technology, nitrogen-based fertilizers with good water solubility such as nitro compound fertilizers, calcium amino acid, and calcium nitrate have gradually become topics of interest in the market. Numerous enterprises have heeded the call for “improving quality and efficiency” by continuously introducing new products of nitro compound fertilizers, thus meeting the emerging demands of high-efficiency agriculture. The characteristics of nitro fertilizers—high efficiency and environmental friendliness—have become widely recognized. They offer numerous advantages, such as rapid absorption, significant yield increases, improved crop quality, drought resistance and water conservation, as well as soil improvement. These attributes align perfectly with the demands of modern agriculture, and their market value is gradually being realized. 　　Gao Xiangzhao, a leading expert from the National Agricultural Technology Extension Center, particularly emphasized the need to coordinate the synergistic effects of soil, water, and fertilizers. He said that the nitrate nitrogen in nitrogenic fertilizers can be directly absorbed and utilized by crops, which **improves the efficiency of fertilizer use; it is necessary to apply resources where they are most needed, thereby enhancing the precision in its application. 　　Ma Ji, a professor at the School of Economics and Management at China Agricultural University, said that in recent years, China has introduced a series of new policies related to agriculture. Environmental protection and the safety standards for agricultural products represent high barriers that practitioners must overcome, and nitrate-based fertilizers can meet these requirements during their production and use. 　　Reportedly, Tianji Group’s main product—phosphatic nitrate fertilizer—has earned an excellent reputation in the industry; the Tianji brand and this fertilizer have become inseparable. On January 16 this year, the China Chemical Industry News, the China Chemical Industry Development Research Institute, and Shanxi Tianji Coal Chemical Group Co., Ltd. jointly launched the Industrial Initiative for the High-Quality Development of Nitrogen Fertilizers in China.
