On November 25, 2019, the review meeting for the first process package of the “40·60” project—the gasification process package review meeting—was successfully held at Beijing Aerospace Maiwei Technology Company. The companies attending this meeting were Jiangsu Jinmei Hengsheng Chemical Co., Ltd., Guizhou Aerospace Maiwei Co., Ltd., and Donghua Technology Co., Ltd. Wang Jingguang, the company’s deputy general manager, led Assistant General Manager Zhang Jun, as well as Xu Zuoying and Niu Bin, who are in charge of the general affairs department, along with staff from the gasification team and the instrumentation department, in attending this review meeting. “The gasification process package for the 40·60” project was designed by Beijing Aerospace Maiwei Technology Company. From September to November of this year, the company provided a total of 72 pages of the first, second, and third versions of the PFD diagrams for the gasification process, 33 pages of material balance tables, 23 pages of equipment lists, 180 pages of equipment data sheets, 90 pages of the R01 version and 82 pages of the R02 version of the PID diagrams for the gasification process, as well as 201 pages of data related to instrument control logic and interlock systems. The gasification team and the instrumentation staff went out to conduct inspections in order to learn about the actual operation of the equipment and processes. At the same time, they provided preliminary data to Aerospace Maiwei Technology; this data was then reviewed in conjunction with the operational conditions of other manufacturers. Any issues related to equipment, processes, and instrumentation identified in the preliminary data were carefully documented one by one. Through the preliminary review, nearly 60 issues or areas requiring improvement were identified, and timely communication was carried out with the designers at Aerospace Maiwei Technology prior to the process package review meeting. At this process package review meeting, Aerospace Maiwei Technology Company addressed each of the issues we raised, providing solutions for them one by one. This has served as an important basis for the construction of gasification equipment and related processes in the future, and it offers strong support for the smooth operation of the entire facility going forward. Aerospace Maiwei concluded that this process package review meeting was the most thorough one conducted since the startup of the Aerospace furnace. It indicates a good beginning for the cooperation among our three parties, and marks a significant step forward for the company’s “40·60” project.
