According to China Fertilizer Network, as of September 16, Guotou Luokeli had already fulfilled its annual sales targets for potassium sulfate; it is now offering pre-sales of products for 2021, but in limited quantities. 　　The company has a daily production capacity of around 7,000 tons; it is currently in the summer shutdown for maintenance, with plans to resume operations on September 25. It is understood that due to the prolonged shutdown for maintenance this summer, all the available stock was sold out by May 20, before production resumed; by the end of July, all inventory in the factory had been depleted. As of July 20, the price charged to distributors increased by 50 yuan per ton. The inventory available with agents is now very limited as well; the price for 52% powder has risen to 2450–2480 yuan per ton. Lower-quality products are becoming increasingly scarce, and prices are even higher in some cases. In particular, the price of granular products is far above the usual premium level.
