The market price of methanol in Qinghai region is currently unavailable. Due to gas supply restrictions during winter, all the major gas-based production facilities in this region are shut down for maintenance, with production expected to resume in March 2021. The prevailing transaction price in Linfen, Shanxi has dropped by 50–60 yuan per ton, reaching 2130–2160 yuan per ton for cash delivery ； The offline price in the Changzhi area is 2,320 yuan per ton, with cash payment upon delivery ； The prevailing transaction price in the Jincheng area has stabilized at 2,250 yuan per ton, ex-warehouse and in cash. The mainstream reference price for methanol in the Anhui region has dropped by 10–20 yuan per ton, to between 2450–2480 yuan per ton when delivered on credit; futures prices have also fallen, and market sentiment is cautious, leading manufacturers to make slight adjustments to their quotes. Negotiations in Henan’s methanol market have declined, with buyer enthusiasm fading. The leading enterprises in Henan offered 4,950 tons for sale through bidding; some lots were not sold, and the final selling price was 2,220–2,225 yuan per ton. Other enterprises submitted stable bid prices, with the actual ex-factory price ranging from 2,250–2,270 yuan per ton ； Negotiations in the Luoyang market have weakened, with quotes around 2250 yuan per ton as a reference. The methanol market in the Two Lakes region is stabilizing. Some enterprises in Hubei have raised their prices; the actual ex-factory price is around 2,500–2,560 yuan per ton ； Trading in the Hunan market is sluggish, with quotes ranging around 2630–2650 yuan per ton.
