The Shuguang Gasification Unit has operated continuously for 675 days, setting a new record for the longest operating period since its commissioning. Currently, the chemical park is shutting down for maintenance as planned. According to the maintenance schedule, the duration of this major repair is 40 days. Among them: 7 days for shutdown replacement, 27 days for equipment maintenance. (I) Shutdown milestones: 1. At 8:30 on November 15, 2021, the first gasifier (Boiler B) was shut down ； 2. At 14:00 on November 16, the second gasification furnace was shut down; the conversion unit, WSA unit, and low-pressure methane unit were also shut down. 3. On November 16, the air separation unit was shut down at the appropriate time, depending on the liquid levels in the nitrogen and oxygen tanks. The boiler was shut down on November 20. (II) Commissioning phase: 1. From December 15 to 17, the utility facilities will be commissioned, restoring normal power supply and instrument systems operation. 2. From December 18 to 19, the two heat and power boilers were started up to increase their temperature; the pressure reached 9.8 MPa. On December 20, the air separation turbine was switched over and brought online. 4. From December 21 to 23, preparations were made to start up the hydrogen production unit. 5. On December 24th, feeding was started in one gasifier, enabling the operation of the entire process. On December 27th, feeding was initiated in the second gasifier, and propylene production using octanol was commenced.
