The transaction price of methanol in the Panjin area dropped by 20 yuan per ton, to 2630 yuan per ton ex-warehouse; in the Shenyang area, the price dropped by 20 yuan per ton, to 2670 yuan per ton ex-warehouse. Downstream buyers make purchases based on their needs. In the vicinity of Shijiazhuang, Hebei, the prevailing transaction prices for methanol plants remain stable at 2,650–2,700 yuan per ton, on a CIF factory basis ; The ex-plant prices of methanol from the major local manufacturers in the Tangshan area of Hebei remain stable at 2,700 yuan per ton, as calculated based on bank transfer fees ; There are currently no reference prices available for methanol in the Wen’an area of Hebei. In the Shanxi region, the prevailing transaction price in Linfen has decreased by 10 yuan/ton at the upper end, now ranging from 2,540 to 2,550 yuan/ton on a works basis with payment in foreign currency ; In the Changzhi region, the offline price is up to 2,720 yuan per ton, EXW factory, in foreign currency ; In the Jincheng area, the prevailing transaction prices have dropped by 70 yuan per ton, reaching 2600–2670 yuan per ton for cash payment at the factory. The methanol market in Henan remains stable for now, with many buyers adopting a wait-and-see attitude. The quotes from enterprises in Henan remain stable; the reference price at the factory is 2,730 yuan per ton, with payment made via bank transfer upon delivery ; The market quote in Luoyang is 2,600–2,630 yuan per ton, in cash upon delivery from the factory. The atmosphere in the methanol market in Anhui is weak; the transaction range is around 2740–2750 yuan per ton, ex-factory and on credit. The situation in East China is also weak, and the Anhui market lacks its own driving force, so it currently follows this weak trend. Offers for methanol in the Two Lakes region have declined, while buyers remain cautious. Hubei-based manufacturers have lowered their quotes; the actual ex-works price is estimated at $2,700–$2,750 per ton on a CIF basis ; The reference price for the Hunan market is 2,860–2,880 yuan per ton, ex-works and in cash. In the Fujian methanol market, the prevailing import spot prices are around 2,830–2,860 yuan per ton, including taxes, ex-plant. There is steady demand from end-users for purchases, but buying activity remains moderate.
