As of 9:58 on December 14, Ningmei Olefins Branch 2 had reached a polyolefin production volume of 1.07 million tons, completing the production target set by Ningmei Company 17 days ahead of schedule. The Olefins Division II has made significant efforts in production coordination, strictly controlling various process parameters such as alarms and interlocks, and continuously strengthening the production command system centered on production scheduling to improve the efficiency of coordinating problem-solving. In terms of energy conservation and consumption reduction, we closely adhere to the “dual control” policy on energy consumption and standardize the methods for energy consumption analysis. Monthly efforts are made to control energy consumption, with measures being formulated in 18 key areas such as the number of compressors in operation, fans in circulating water cooling towers, the reflux ratio in distillation columns, and flare emissions. The total annual energy consumption was 1.813 million tons of standard coal, resulting in an energy consumption intensity of 1.65 tons of standard coal per ton; thus, the energy consumption targets set by Ningmei Company were successfully met.
