Daqing Petrochemical’s urea products exported on a large scale to Brazil for the first time

On February 3, a freighter carrying 10,000 tons of Daqing Petrochemical urea was heading to the port of Paranaguá in Brazil. This marks the first time that the company’s urea products have been exported on a large scale to Brazil, opening up new avenues for establishing new brands for overseas sales and for creating a matrix of benefits related to chemical products. The Daqing Petrochemical complex optimizes production factors and management processes to continuously enhance the efficiency of its facilities. By 2025, urea production will reach 459,000 tons, with a product quality rate of 100%, laying a solid foundation for entering overseas markets. To meet the quality requirements for exported urea, the Fertilizer Department of Daqing Petrochemical has developed specialized operation guides to precisely control process parameters and ensure strict quality control, guaranteeing that each batch of products meets international standards. To ensure the smooth progress of export tasks, Daqing Petrochemical established a special task force to coordinate the preparation work for shipment. The Sales, Storage and Transportation Center promptly inspected the dedicated railway line, while the Equipment Maintenance Center conducted a comprehensive inspection and maintenance of key equipment such as the packaging line and loaders. Spare parts prone to wear and tear were prepared in advance, all to ensure the stable operation of the equipment. Through efficient collaboration, Daqing Petrochemical worked closely with Northeast Chemical Sales Company and Huabei CNPC (Shandong) International Co., Ltd., actively engaging with the relevant regulatory authorities to complete various processes efficiently, scientifically planning ship schedules and delivery timelines, and thus establishing a smooth export support system.
