Jinhé Industrial stated that its project for producing 200,000 tons of synthetic ammonia per year through gasification of pulverized coal will be completed by the end of 2025. Equipment debugging and capacity ramp-up will take place in the first quarter of 2026. The operation of the equipment and process parameters are currently being optimized. Anhui Jinhé Industrial Co., Ltd.’s 200,000-ton synthetic ammonia project, which uses coal as raw material and a space furnace for gasification to produce crude syngas, goes on to produce H2, CO, and liquid ammonia through processes such as isothermal shift, desulfurization and decarburization, compression, and low-pressure synthesis; ammonium bicarbonate is also generated as a by-product. Among them, hydrogen is used in the hydrogen peroxide plant, carbon monoxide is used in the DMF plant, and carbon dioxide is used to produce ammonium bicarbonate.
