The design of heat exchanger piping should start with specifying the flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures, maximum pressure drop, operating pressure, as well as the number of parallel pipes and the valves on the main pipes. Please help this newbie in the chemical industry, thank you!
I don’t know what you want to calculate – the diameter of inlet and outlet pipes? Calculate the heat exchange area? Or something else?
