Recently, there have been numerous road transport accidents involving chemicals both within and outside Guangdong Province; it is essential to learn from these incidents and take measures to prevent similar problems from occurring in the future. The inspection team pointed out that upon learning that the company had installed intelligent video surveillance and alarm systems on its vehicles, it emphasized the need to make good use of such technologies in order to better monitor and control unsafe behaviors by drivers. Enterprises must strictly implement the requirements set out in the \"Notice on Banning the Passage of Vehicles Transporting Hazardous Goods on Highways during Major Holidays in 2020 and the Peak Period of the Spring Travel Season,\" by properly managing vehicles and personnel, as well as ensuring effective control at parking lots. As the companies responsible for the loading and transportation of such materials, gas stations must assume their primary responsibility for ensuring safe production, and establish systems for checking and registering the carriers. The inspection team emphasized that filling enterprises must strengthen their own safety management, especially during the \"two festivals,\" by thoroughly enhancing inspections of equipment and facilities to prevent production safety accidents during the filling process. The guidance provided by the inspection team to these two companies reflects the emphasis placed on the area of hazardous material transportation. Given the frequent occurrence of accidents related to hazardous material transportation in Guangdong Province recently, it is necessary to strengthen the regulation of enterprises engaged in such transportation, enhance relevant training, and ensure the safety of hazardous material transport.
