The water produced by reverse osmosis is used for drinking purposes; why does it appear blue when stored in this tank? Could blue actually indicate good water quality?
Not necessarily. It might be the color of the bucket or the lighting that makes the water appear blue. The quality of water should be determined through testing, including measuring parameters such as pH value, dissolved solid content, and microbial count. Therefore, we cannot judge the quality of water based solely on its color. .

One characteristic of scattering is that light with longer wavelengths is more easily scattered, while light with shorter wavelengths is less likely to be scattered; as a result, when looking at the side or top of such large water containers, they appear slightly blue. Actually, with a skyroof background, it turns blue in a similar way. For the water in that large white barrel, a similar phenomenon can be observed when looking down from above as well. This is my personal understanding; it may not be correct.
