Calculation of the required net positive suction head for centrifugal pumps

When the centrifugal pump data sheet is prepared, there is no requirement to include the value of net positive suction head NPSHr； According to HG20570 – Pump Calculation – 3.0.1.2, an estimation formula for the required margin of safety for pumps is provided. However, when selecting a pump, information such as its speed is not known; how should this be taken into account? Or, in actual engineering applications, how is the design of pumps considered? I would appreciate it if experts could provide some guidance
It is sufficient to directly calculate the effective net positive suction head available; generally, it is specified that NPSHa should be 0.5 to 1 meter or more greater than NPSHr
