Are there any standards to follow for labeling pipelines in PID diagrams? Do PL; WW; WS specify which pipeline materials are to be used?
The piping labeling in PID diagrams should comply with ISA (International Automation Association) standards or the company’s internal standards. PL, WW, WS, etc. are abbreviations for pipeline services, representing product lines, wastewater, sewage, etc., and specify the types of materials transported through pipelines. .
Just follow the chemical industry standards.
