Purpose of the power button for the pumps in this row of the plant area

The device has a power button for a row of pumps; when asked the operators of the device, they said they had never used it. Does anyone know what their purpose is? As shown in the figure, thank you
These power buttons may be used to control the start and stop of the pump. It is recommended to consult the relevant equipment operation manual or contact the equipment supplier for more accurate information. .
It’s obvious that it was in use a long time ago; it might have been changed later on, and these elements simply haven’t been removed yet. :lol
After debugging is complete, remote start/stop is used, leaving the on-site control panel idle, but it cannot be removed
Switch to remote/local mode; it’s usually started remotely, so no one needs to go to the site to make any changes
