Latest progress on Shaanxi Coal Yulin’s 500,000 tons/year DMC Phase I project: Recently, the acceptance process for the soil and water conservation facilities related to Yu Gaoxin Materials Company’s 500,000 tons/year dimethyl carbonate (DMC) Phase I project was completed. At the meeting, Shaanxi Huazheng Ecology Construction Design and Supervision Company, Huanghe Herun Engineering Design Co., Ltd., Xi’an Huanghe Engineering Construction Consulting Co., Ltd., and Shaanxi Yuhua Soil and Water Ecology Technology Co., Ltd. presented detailed reports on tasks such as supervision, design, monitoring, and acceptance of soil and water conservation plans. The reports submitted by various parties demonstrated the achievements of the project in soil and water conservation throughout the entire process, from planning and implementation to acceptance, providing a solid basis for the efficient conduct of the acceptance process. Subsequently, the acceptance expert team went to the site to inspect the implementation of soil and water conservation measures for the project, and carefully reviewed the relevant documents. After thorough discussion, it was concluded that Yugu High-Tech Materials Company has implemented appropriate soil and water conservation measures; the project is safe and reliable, and its quality is satisfactory. It was unanimously agreed that the soil and water conservation facilities for the first phase of the 500,000 tons/year DMC project meet the acceptance criteria. It is reported that Yuguang High-Tech Materials Company’s 500,000 tons per year DMC production facility is located in the Qingshui Industrial Park of Yushen Industrial Zone in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province. The total investment in this project amounts to approximately 4.765 billion yuan. The facility is designed to produce 500,000 tons per year of dimethyl carbonate (DMC), along with the necessary auxiliary and utility systems. Phase 1 of the project involves the construction of a plant capable of producing 100,000 tons per year of high-purity DMC, while Phase 2 will involve the construction of a plant capable of producing 400,000 tons per year of high-purity DMC.
